Looming

Is that a word? Well, I am using it.

Much looms over my head these days-school, home projects, baby training, the promise of new life growing inside of me, my children's attitudes and behaviors, Christmas doings, my husband's needs, my own attitudes, and so much more.

The life of a wife and mother is to give-give of herself constantly-maybe sometimes with little notice but always with great rewards.

What rewards?

Sweet little kisses from small lips, a Hi mama as a child passes by, hugs galore, an interesting tale around every corner, the sound of little feet running down the hall, a child's heart given in faith to Jesus, a request for help, hearing her name repeated a thousand times a day, little noses to wipe, socks to put on barefeet, a sweet smile, giggles, sibling love and care, home cooked meals to share, and so much more!

Thank you Lord for the call on my life. I give it wholeheartedly!
